Would like to know whether any parents had enrolled their children in such classes before starting sec one?

my son continued his Chinese tuition in nov after his PSLE...but when school reopened, I realized his tutor cannot continue because she is not able to teach sec level.

I did not enrol my child for preparation course( knowing he is weak)! now he is struggling without any tuition.

I know for sure the jump from pri sch lvl to sec sch lvl is very very huge (as evidenced from elder boy's experience).

Did you change the tutor?

Friends shared with me to start preparing for jump in languages come sec 1. So I plan to start my DD with Chinese holiday classes.

只要维持对华文的兴趣，多阅读报章杂志，即使升上中学也能应对自如。
与其迫不及待地把孩子往补习中心送，不如趁小六会考结束，带孩子走一趟台湾背包之旅，感受这个语文的美。

He had improved to A for his Psle, so we decided to monitor his progress for Sec1, true enough,it is his weakest subject. He failed his recent common test. He has short memory for chinese word..he will those words if never revise for 2weeks.
