I am a secondary 1 student and i have been selected for a prefect interview. Can someone give me examples of questions i will be asked?

I would really appreciate it if someone helps me. Thanks in advance:)

1) Why do you want to be a prefect?

2) What are your strengths and weaknesses?

3) Tell us what make you stand out from the rest.

Tips to ace the interview, be very confident in speech, mannerism and presentation of yourself during interview. Remember to smile, be honest in answering questions, don't know say don't know and show enthusiasm. Be polite and be optimistic. Have a sense of self-worth and high self-esteem. These are the qualities that they be looking out for.

What do you think a prefect's role is and what would you do to do that role well.
Name a prefect whom you admire and what did she do to let you feel so?

its great to see a student who aspires to be a prefect. I think whatever you say, you need to display a few traits:

1. Leadership

2. Discipline

3. Academic Excellence

4. Care for students

I think the most important is leadership, or the ability to influence your peers and command their respect. If you have these 3 traits you should be quite an influential student already.

And i think grooming does help. for example, when i interview candidates I do pay attention to their "neatness". Less of fashionable, more of being neat.
