There are no other fees to pay. MOELC 3rd language course is a very good opportunity to learn a whole new language from qualified teachers at zero fees.

Hi, can I confirm that for Malay and Asian languages, the exam is only until o level or year 4. But for foreign languages, it’ll be until JC or year 6? Thank you.

For foreign languages, can continue until year6 if you are good. Can also stop if not coping well.

It may be better for parents and students to consider seriously before taking up the 3rd Lang
There are many who dropped out due to pressure from studies and other activities. This not only waste resources of students and MOELC, but deprieve others who are genuine to learn but not offered.

Between Spanish & German, which one harder to learn ?

Or let's phrase it, in another way :
By end of Sec 2 / Sec 3, which one has a higher drop out rate, at MOELC (Bishan) ? Is it Spanish or German ?

What are the timings for third language classes for the Sec 1s? Which day is it held on?

Depends on the schools for the days
Usually in the afternoon at MOELC
