Hi

I need help to clarify on natural number. Can someone help on this?

Is "0" included in a natural number?

What about fraction/decimals? Are they included in natural number?

Can explain? Thank you in advance.

Hi, anyone enroll their kids with SmartLab before? Heard they are now introducing their year end holiday programs with revision classes, enrichments classes, labs and also head start classes. Should be a good opportunity to enroll my kids so they can learn something during the 2 months school holidays if not this long break will make them forget what they learnt before and it’s always good to start early. Lol good to be kiasu abit.

Hi everyone!

Why is (2/3x-2) - (1/ 2-3x) = (3/3x-2) [Note: They are all fractions]

Thank you! :?:

Doesn't look like psle question. Anyway....
(2/3x-2) + [1/-(2-3x)] = 2/3x-2 + 1/3x-2 = 3/3x-2
Might be MO kind but I'm not sure. Definitely not psle so no worries. :)

chk two denominators :
3x-2 vs 2-3x
if 2-3x can be re-written as...
2-3x = -(3x-2)
...

wouldn't it be great if there were online 'tuition' services that help our kids with homework - like online tutors who can explain to our kids how to do math questions. homework these days are so difficult.

Need help with the following question. Thanks in advance.

The length of a rectangle is 20 m, correct to the nearest metre. If the area of the field is 332m2, correct to the nearest square metre, find the least possible breadth of the field, giving your answer correct to 3 significant figures.
