Anyone can share how to do well in POA?My friend's son who is taking N level this year is still quite lost :sad:

1. Memorise and understand the qualitative concepts, e.g. difference between bookkeeping and accounting, etc. This should secure 20% of the marks.

2. Be very familiar with A=L+OE and double entries.

3. Take special effort to understand accrual accounting as a lot of the syllabus (e.g. adjustments, non-current assets, etc.) revolve around this concept.

4. Get help if needed. It's good to have someone explain these concepts.

Overall, POA is not difficult. It will difficult at the beginning as all knowledge are very new to students. Students need a good guidance to help them build a solid foundation at the beginning
