I need to correct the statement made by Stan0015 that:
"2. New syllabus is all about columnar format no more teaching of t a/cs even though format is still accepted by Cambridge".

If you refer to the syllabus of Syllabus 7175 (2018), "T Account" is allowed, see page 11 of the syllabus, which it reads as :

• Examination question showing any ledger account will be presented in both the
T and columnar formats. Answer to examination question requiring any ledger
account can be prepared using either the T or columnar format.

I've heard students complaining about the formulas, hard to understand etc. I would think it's similar to A maths in the learning process?

A math, unless you are set on being an accountant.
