Hi there, I am new here and I am a full time Math / Chinese tutor. I have been giving tuition for 11 years, teaching students from P1 to S5. Longest time with student at 6 years (from P4 to Sec 4).

My teaching style focuses alot on igniting the interest to pick up the subject and improve towards competency in the subjects. To accomplish this, I employ encouragement techniques and provide incentives for students to do and practise / apply more.

My belief - Not only being exam smart is important; the ability to apply and see the relevance of learning in life is just as crucial.

Thanks

* About 70% of my tuition students scored either A or B.

* I try to offer more than just academic tuition by including some degree of Career Counselling/ Discussion.

Hi, I'm a full time maths tutor teaching pri 6 and sec1-5 with 5 years of experience, am also MOE registered relief teacher and accredited social worker. Any parents whose kids request for maths tuition for extra support can email me at [email protected] or PM me, we can discuss further on the child's needs. I would also offer free first meet-up session so that you can also see for yourself whether it is a good fit with no obligation to hire me after that if deemed not suitable :) I believe in shaping the child's learning attitude in the process instead of only chasing good results.

Hi fellow forum chums

A belated happy New Year. My DS will be doing the Ed Excel Maths Gcse 9-1, here in England. Can someone please review the Ed Excel URL and let me know if the content and challenge is same as the SG Maths O Level. Reason being someone is sending me the Maths O Level TYS, and if relevant DS can practise the TYS.

Please refer to the Higher "H" papers.
