Dear Parents
please share with me if you know of someone whose kids have dyslexia and is currently in studying in secondary school.
which secondary school offer such support? I will like to know how the child is coping, does the kid still need to go for DAS?

Many thanks.

My son is dyslexic and he is currently in sec 2. The school is one of those with support for special needs children but frankly the AED does not offer any form of help with academic requirement. They basically help to coordinate application for exam accommodation such as extra time, etc. My son is exempted from MT and is still attending DAS therapy.

some resource schools do provide literacy intervention. shortlist the schools you want to enrol and check with the aed in the school during open house if any.
