Where to buy Montessori Materials in Singapore ??

Postby jancy » Sun Jul 04, 2010 11:12 am

Is there any other place in Singapore other than Right to Learn

( www.r2learntoys.com) that sells Montessori Materials?

I am planning to homeschool my kid using the Montessori Method and would like to purchase some basic items.

Kydz (you can check them out online - local co.) There's also another co in Kaki Bukit industrial building. Better qulality than right to learn.

Alternatively buy it from Malaysia (bambini) you key that in google and go on their web. Best quality if you compare theirs to the local ones.

I check out the prices but find that all of the rest have must higher prices than right to learn as they have the most competitive prices and just bought a few things from them and the quality is perfectly acceptable!

Montessori Materials (Distributors)

Postby buds » Mon Jul 05, 2010 12:31 am

The right2learn materials may not be in the exact dimensions
as compared to the original ones used in Montessori schools,
but will do if one intends to teach one's own child or children.
Quality wise cannot compare cos for some materials, the item
is sold cheaper. It may come from China, Thailand or Sri Lanka.

Good quality with full range of materials and widely distributed
to many Montessori schools in Singapore & Malaysia would be
Bambini definitely. Here's the link..

There's another in Geylang called the Montessori Gallery..
Here's the link.. > http://www.themontessorigallery.com.sg/

I got to know a fellow distributor under AMI @ Jurong East i
think, somewhere within Science Park. Can't remember exact
address... Sorry. :salute: I have her contact somewhere but
need to check again.

If I'm not mistaken she's here @ this site called The Montessori
Room. Ask for Queenie. Very patient lady.. :D Here's the link..

If you have an eBay account, you may also get the materials
here @ The Montessori Store.

MMI online store has a few products. If you wish, you may also
want to call them to inquire whether they sell their materials to
parents as well. Here's their link..

Finally, here's the link from KYDZ. > http://www.kydzedu.com/

Hope this few are enough to keep you occupied with your recce.

Happy shopping! :celebrate:

Just for your information... Just visited Right To Learn 's showroom at Lower Delta Road...
They have all the range of montessori materials and they are in original size as well as the miniature ones too.

They also have workshops that teach parents how to use the materials ...
