u dun care about their social skill
and many more..

Pre-school education not only prepare our kids for academics for P1, which I would say it is rather demanding nowadays,
it also promotes social interaction with other kids, helping them to "intergrate into the society" when they go primary school.

its ok if the stay home parent is able/willing to spend time with the kids to prepare them for pri sch - like a homeschooling parent. if not, dun even think abt it. unless u have very intelligent kids.

assuming the kid does not go to school n does not get much mental stimulation at home, its also not good for the development (be it cognitive, social etc) of the child given they dun get to experience the dynamics of being part of a group, how to behave and get what they want from the teacher.

actually what is your intention of asking the question? r u thinking abt not sending your kids to preschool yourself?

If you planning not to send your kids to childcare/playgroup, make sure your kids got enough stimulation and friends at home.
