Re: [Changi/Pasir Ris/Tampines/Simei] Preschools
i know the centre which my boys attend also provide after school care. They serve healthy home-cooked meals and customise their materials.
the environment is conducive for kids. you can pm me if you need their contact.

Hi all, I have a friend who is keen for Star Learners in Pasir Ris. I enrolled my kid in Star Learners Bishan few months ago and loved it so much I recommended to her. Any parents have their kids in Star Learners Pasir Ris who could share their experiences there? Wonder if there might be a difference if its different branches..

Hi KiasuNewbie,
I, too, am a first time mummy staying along Jalan Loyang Besar (we stay very nearby!). I've checked out several childcare centers around Pasir Ris and personally like Sunflower Montessori (opp. Pasir Ris Park - along Elias Road) due to the space and curriculum. However, as the location is inaccessible, I'll be giving this a miss. You can check it out if location is not an issue.
Form your options above, IMHO, kinderland (along upper change road or Loyang point?) will be a better option as compared to the rest. Kidzmonte is along a very busy road - consider air pollution when the children are in the outdoor playing.
Again IMHO, I'll prefer the school setting to be on a landed property so the children will have a dedicated area for outdoor activities. You can also be assured that your child will be safe in the outdoor during school hours.
(There are some negative review about Nissi Childcare so you may want to review it.)

Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum.
Just to share, I'm a father of 2 boys, one 19 months+ & one 1 month+. I'm the sole breadwinner for my family drawing a modest pay & I stay near Pasir Ris Polyclinic area.
The reason why I'm here is because I'm very worried & concerned on which childcare or pre-school I should enrol my first child for N1 when he turns 3. I'm very worried as I fear that if I send my son to a wrong one, I'll end up wasting my money & suffer in regrets.
Honestly speaking, to begin with, I do not really know the differences between a nursery, childcare centre & a pre-school. Or are they all the same meaning?
I sincerely appreciate the kind replies of parents who are residing in Pasir Ris, on which childcare or pre-school is recommended for full day lesson for my case. Preferably a location near my place & credited with SPARK. Hope some kind soul can guide me through this.
