Where will you travel for holiday now?

School terms keep kids in school and parents sane. Holidays can be boring to kids if they are left alone. Discuss vacation ideas and how to make good use of the free time for both children and adults.

I want to travel to a place where I can bring my children safely. I want to go to a place where is very peaceful and quiet. Or maybe at some amusement park? Maybe that's a good idea, right?

I will travel to somewhere comfortable because I want to bring my children. The best place I can think of for a family vacation is Wuhan, Hubei province.
I think I’ve found another wonderland to visit. It is full of scenic locations to visit, interesting food to try and great shopping. Plus, it’s full of beautiful looking people (albeit mostly fake and upgraded with plastic). It’s also adult and child friendly. You guess it, this place is South Korea!

P/S: how do you say Coronavirus in Korean?

Considering the number of countries starting to ban us, I think staying home is all we can do anyway

With all the "competition" for the top few places in the rankings, I think Singapore should be taken off some of the lists soon? But it doesn't help holiday choices much if so many other countries overtake us.

Yes. I do agree - stay home.

I can u’stand parents who wants to engage their kids with fun & R&R for themselves esp during sch holidays. Very young kids will find it hard to sit till at home. But, better safe than expose kids to unknown esp with known COVID-19 circulating round the globe now

To me home is safest santuary & most comfortable.

I will switch from Japan/Korea to USA, but hopefully they don't spend too much time testing me at the airport or worse, at their local hospital. I remember being subjected to a host of stringent TSA swab tests at SFO once because Singapore was then listed as one of their high alert countries after the Bali bombing in Indonesia. They even showed me a map to explain why I had to undergo those forensic tests. I also saw the flight manifest in the airport security guy's hands and my name was highlighted in yellow.
