All About Travelling Pregnant Or With Kids

School terms keep kids in school and parents sane. Holidays can be boring to kids if they are left alone. Discuss vacation ideas and how to make good use of the free time for both children and adults.

Australia with kids/pregnant can be quite fun and relaxing. Nature, shopping, walking around... Can do self-drive, which is cheap and convenient.

Hi Everyone

Hope I can get some advice. We are going to Osaka in October with our 3yo. Our flight is a red-eye flight and currently my daughter sleeps in the room with a moon light (night light from IKEA) turned on. She's really afraid of the dark and I know that red-eye flights usually have their lights turned off after meal service.

I guess I have the option of turning on the reading light but it's quite glaring as I remember. Another thing I thought of was to buy a portable mini travel light but I haven't seen any so far. Has anyone had similar situations before and what did you do? Another friend suggested i turn on the reading light and then make a 'tent' to shield her from the glare ... haha.

Would appreciate some suggestions :) Thanks!

You may want to request bassinet seating arrangement as there are lights at the food area? My 1 year old toddler is the opposite. She can't sleep with any lightings and sound. And we happened to request for bassinet and get to seat near the food storage area. So there are lights which can't be switch off because the stewardness need to prepare the food. So what we do is to request them to dim the light and pull the curtain up.

You may get portable mini travel light at Kiddy palace? But I think is those cute lightings kind.

Hope this helps!
