Any idea the reason?
Is it full service carrier or budget carrier?
For my side, I need food n movie on board to pass time for flight above 2 hrs - I get bored n frustrated trapped in cabin .. Some full service flight bought during sales can be $800 plus eg Thai , Finair- rather worth it too.

Actually, it stops on 10 Jan. I just heard - very disappointed. My husband and daughter are flying Norwegian next week, and we were hoping to book it for our vacation next year. I guess it wasn't as profitable as they hoped.

doratheexplorer wrote:Hi all busy since it’s 1 week away for my gal psle. I have made some changes to my London trip, where I stay 3 nights at Liverpool to attend a Liverpool match and 2 x day trips to north wales and Lake District. Thereafter we leave for Manchester. Here is the tricky part though. I am going to stay 3 nights at Alton towers resort. 2 days we stick in the theme park there kids play and we rest and enjoy the resort but the problem is from Liverpool we get to Manchester. I Wan to visit old Trafford and some sightseeing before we conclude at Alton towers which is about 2 hours away. Then from Alton towers we come back to Manchester to take train back to London or can we take train from alt straight to London.
Why do you want to visit Alton Towers? :nailbite:

Did you know there was a major accident at one of the rides in Sep 2016?

Old Trafford has a large MUFC megastore. But nothing novel, as Singapore used to have a MUFC store in Orchard Parade Hotel.

Don't worry - your kids will probably enjoy it! I personally haven't been (not my type of thing) but I've heard other people say they enjoyed it. You can get a train to London from there by finding your way to Uttoxeter.

Kew Gardens is amazing. It's a botanical garden. Nearby, a hidden secret is Newen's Bakery in Kew. It's about 10-15 minutes away from the city centre on the train. (the station is called Kew Gardens). They make these egg tarts called "The Original Maids of Honour" which Henry VIII liked so much he had the recipe kept in a locked box. They are indescribably tasty. Their steak pie is also good.
