Which Country Suitable For Young Children?

School terms keep kids in school and parents sane. Holidays can be boring to kids if they are left alone. Discuss vacation ideas and how to make good use of the free time for both children and adults.

No matter the age or size of your family, few travel destinations compare to Japan. It’s safe, clean, and rich with unique activities. In addition to Kyoto’s 17 UNESCO sites, the area has hiking, rafting and lessons in traditional crafts.

Then there’s Tokyo, where past and future melt together like nowhere else. Kid-friendly museums and public events are all over town, many of them cheap (or free) for children. Japan’s transportation system is unmatched, and trains link cities to the country’s wealth of natural beauty: pristine beaches, snow-capped peaks, and lush, verdant valleys.

Malaysia is nearest so it is suitable for young children. Kota Kinabalu has good cultural tours for young children. We enjoyed it.

Yogyakarta, Indonesia
What to do: Visit Borobudur, the world’s largest Buddhist temple and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Be amazed by the scale and the attention to detail of the temple. Visit its Hindu counterpart Prambanan, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Let the kids learn about royal life at the Taman Sari Water Castle, a garden for the Sultan of Yogyakarta. After all that history, head for the the Kids Fun Park where everyone can enjoy water-slides, do go-karting, and go on a variety of fun-filled rides. Make sure to drop by Jalan Malioboro, the 24 Hours Street to pick up some souvenirs.

Hi there,

my two cents. Taiwan is really suitable for young children too. It is affordable, near and scenic. have 4 kids so we have been travelling to taipei and taiwan in general on road trips. We drive and cycle. If you don't have much time to spare (like 4 or 5 days), you can go taipei and visit Yilan for some countryside-nature escape. https://trip101.com/article/interesting ... lan-taiwan

Hope this helps.

Japan is great! It is one of the places we love to go as a family. Children between the ages of six and 11 ride for half-price on trains (including bullet trains), while those aged under six ride for free. ... Travelling by car is often a good strategy for families, as it makes child and luggage-wrangling easier

Well. Thailand is a safe place for traveling with children and babies. The culture is very family oriented, and that includes your family, too.
