Original Title: Golden Palm Tree - Sepang

Hi,
Has anyone went to The Golden Palm Tree-Sepang?

I went there last year when it was not opened yet. I find it is nothing to shout about especially the beach. Unless you want to getaway from the city's busy life, then it is worth considering.

If you are coming here, consider going to Tanjung Sepat. Many tourists for there for food (seafood, famous pau, etc), mushroom farm... It is a village town where you can still spot old-fashioned wooden houses. For me, it gives me a nostalgic feeling.

Just came back from the resort.
The service at the resort was excellent.
The staff were attentive and polite.

However i found the place boring.
It is in the middle of no where.
No shops except for the kampong type of stalls.
The resort itself does not have a convenience store.
So if you do not have a car, there is little you can do.

They have some activites organised by the resort but the price is rather steep.
The beach is dirty and muddy.
The concept of water villas is great if only the beach were clean and pristine.
I wonder why they built the resort there.

The Golden Palm Tree - the 1st major eco-tourist development along Sepang Gold Coast. With the curled leaf of the palm tree plan, each villa enjoys a slightly different view of the sea and the sky. The thatched attap roof was chosen instead of cheaper conventional roofing material as it blends easily with the surroundings.

I have to agree there isn't much activities to do there but my family enjoyed the peace and serenity of the place. And not to forget our all-time favorite - the infinity swimming pool which is designed with a perfect vantage of the Straits stretching out to the horizon! Perfect Peace! :celebrate:

Hello Carebear,
I have dropped you a P.M. :D

Don't worry about it, carebear. She's just a spammer posting nonsense, trying to get people to click on a link she included in her post.
A mod must have deleted her post.
