Which credit card to use when travelling?

Hello parents, when travelling, do u have a preferred card to use? are the charges different by banks or cards? We are heading to tokyo soon, and anticipate eh.. high usage... any advice? thanks!!

It's best to call up your credit card company and ask them how much is the exchange rate if you purchase your product in another currency.

Most of them have different rates, and all of them will levy a fee for VISA or MasterCard.

Also, their rates may vary from time to time, so it's best to do some legwork for the cards you already hold. ;)

I find citibank exchange rates reasonable. Citi is also more careful. Will ring you just tomcheckmif you"'ve just use the card overseas for a purchase. uob will my second choice.

this wld be on a case by case basis i suppose, and the extend the bank is able to.

retail therapy is good... proven to work like wonders !
