Japan or Goldcoast suitable for young children?

School terms keep kids in school and parents sane. Holidays can be boring to kids if they are left alone. Discuss vacation ideas and how to make good use of the free time for both children and adults.

They are not too young to travel, but you probably want to take it easy, especially for the younger one. Build in days when they can rest and not walk around too much, try to maintain a regular routine for meals and naps as far as possible, and find something that will interest them every day. I haven't been to either place for years and that was before I had kids, so can't really comment.

Any country that isn't a war zone, with extremely poor hygiene, or with epidemic diseases etc. Most countries that welcome tourists should be OK for kids that age; you just need to choose your activities so that your kids don't get over-tired and cranky. I've travelled in UK, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and China with kids that age and younger.

2.5 years and 4 years will love Tokyo Disney. You can easily spend 2-3 days at both parks.

Been to both with our young kids. In fact just came back from GC last month.

For themeparks,
The verdict from everyone: Tokyo Disneyland & DisneySea.

I bought my DD to Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea when she was 23 mths. And bought my DS there when he was 21mths. They both enjoy there so much. So, for me.I would prefer Tokyo then Goldcoast.
