Took my kids there last week. Original plan was to spend the day at Adventure Cove, but cancelled due to weather.

Went to the Aquarium instead. Nice, but rather small. Saw some interesting sea creatures. Being new, the fishes are not very big at the moment. Lots of room in the aquarium for them to get bigger  Not too crowded as it was a weekday. Travellator was not working.

Free viewing of the Maritime Museum b4 arriving at the entrance to the Aquarium.

We went to Marine Aquarium. I thought my husband was kidding when he said we were going to 'look at fishes'. I'd thought it was linked to Adventure Cove but it wasn't.

The Aquarium was definitely superior to Underwater World. If I remember correctly, there were 9 or 11 sections. We were getting tired after the fifth. Lots of walking to do. A huge ceiling-to-floor and wall-to-wall aquarium impressed us though. Gigantic stingrays and garoupas (I think) with lots of fishes and two divers were in there.

If you adore fishes, you will like Marine Aquarium

At the entrance, you are invited to take a pic and they charge $60 with a leather folder and $30 for the pic with a normal paper frame at the end of the tour.

we went on a saturday afternoon. was abit crowded. the S.E.A aquarium stands for South East Asia aquarium. so mostly are tropical fishes, got marine life also but not much. my kids loved it especially my boy at the shipwreak area, he kept standing there admiring the fishes. but my hubby didnt like it, he felt is a waste of money, he said is like going to a fish shop. but because SEA aquarium is still very new, so most of the fishes are still at baby stage, even the sharks are relatively young. And Yes, travellator is not working.

Also, alot of walking & because we push a pram, we had to go up slopes but still alright. when we reached the area where the huge ceiling to floor aquarium, there were lots of people sitting next to the glass, some are taking photos, some are sitting there eating & chatting, some old folks also sat on the steps too. so for us we felt that area was very cramp as so many people were sitting there & my boy had to kept telling ppl excuse me so he can see the fishes. And also, there were beanbags next to the aquarium, that also explains why so many people will sit next to the aquarium & chit chat/take photos.

Better to go on a weekday. for us, it took us about 45mins to walkthrough, basically of the crowd there also, some ppl will hog around an aquarium & we can't see much also.

i told my kids we will go there next time on a weekday, definately not a weekend.
