Yes, I been to Orlando Universal Studios last Dec 2011.

I am not a fan of Harry Porter , but I am very impressed by the Settings.

Is like you are taken back to Harry Porter time.

The buildings are just like those shown in the movie....
The ride is exciting , so far the one and only one in this world
This is an attraction in Orlando .

LA Universal Studio will build another one ...in a few years time...

But going to Orlando takes more than 20 hours , changing a few flights

Going to London from Singapore is around 12 hours direct flight....

The one in London is not a theme park. Just movies sets. The one in Islands of Adventure in Orlando is a theme park. So it depends on what you want. I am not sure if they have place in LA to build one too. But they seem to be expanding the one in Orlando to include Diagonal Alley on the Universal Studios Jaws site, based on rumors.

We just came back from Orlando, and being Harry Potter fans and I must saw the theming including merchandise and F&B are fantastic, it is not only rides but a total experience. It is like you have walked into the movie or book.

If you love theme parks Orlando is a place to visit....

4 Big Disney Parks, 2 Universal Studios....

And the weather is not too cold....

I find the people in Orlando are friendly , compare to those people working In LA theme parks....

And Orlando things are cheaper compare to LA ....

Orlando tax is lower ....
