I was actually thinking of trying out kangaroo meat by buying some at the local markets in Perth since it's high in protein, Vitamin Bs, Omega-3, iron, zinc, and it is low in saturated fat, as well as price. May be cooking it ourselves as well in our apartment-hotel.

Anybody knows how it tastes like? Like; which types of meat?
It taste like... meat.
No seriously. Just a bit tougher I find.
Get the roo's tail.

P/S: no need to go do far to Perth to buy, can find in Singapore I think.

Anyone has advice on Exmouth and Coral Bay ?
Hi misty mum!

Sorry for my late reply. I'm aware flight is possible but the cost is exorbitant right? Can you advise how much?

Hi,
I am planning for a family trip to perth, 5 adults and 2 kids. (6D5N) in June 2014.

Parents (63 years old)
kids: 8 and 5
Others 25 - 40

Still thinking if should follow tour or free and easy? can you pls share your thoughts? As not sure if my father at 63 years old, will be able to drive in Australia, though at the moment, he is driving at Malaysia.

And, do we need to wear thermal wear during that time or wind breaker/jacket will do? worry if kids and parents are able to take it.

Thinking to bring the kids for penguin, dophin...

Thanks

I tried it at a restaurant in Oz. It had a gamey smell... also a bit tough so if you have small kids, make sure you buy something else easier on the palate.

You can also buy rabbit meat from some grocers. Try cooking that in a stew. Quite nice.

How many of you? I have a 5 bedroom house in Canning Vale. Currently 4 of those are rented out so I have one spare available for you if you are interested. You'll be sharing the house with a retired army officer (my main tenant), a young couple from PRC, a miner from Sydney & 2 other ladies from PRC. You'll be required to do your share of the housekeeping.

I forgot to add..... there's space in the garage for 5 vehicles and my backyard is large enough to park a couple of helicopters so you have plenty of spaces available :p

Hi ServantofGod,

Many thanks for your offer. We are a family of 4. Wow.. your house seems very big. However, we prefer a small unit to rent for our own..

It's alrite. Hope you manage to find something suitable for your family.

My house was built on land that nobody wanted. I bought it initially intending to start a farm about 25 years ago but plans didn't work out. It was left vacant until about 10 years ago when developers starting building houses on the surrounding land. As rows and rows of houses came up, I decided to have a house built on my land too. It coincided with the mining boom and rental income was especially good so I have never stayed in that house yet as it has been rented out all this while. :p
