Hi Parents,

Can I check with you guys, what happens after next once you have been taken by a speed camera in Malaysia?

Because over the long weekend, I brought my family to a short trip in Malaysia and I was driving at least 150km/hr on the highway towards KL and suddenly saw 2 flashes of camera lights aimed at my car.

So could anyone advise me?

Thanks

Previously, my friend was caught in camera for speeding too. when they reach the next toll, they were asked to stop and pay the fine on the spot. Wonder why yours was different.

Perhaps you want to post your questions in mycarforum under roadtrips. The guys there should be able to reply.

You can google and there's a website that allows you to check and make payment online. Make sure you keep the receipt in the car! However, if you don't forsee going to Malaysia soon, you can KIV - they have "discounts period"... and then they give discount up to 50% RM300 reduced to RM150.
