telescope for my young ones

School terms keep kids in school and parents sane. Holidays can be boring to kids if they are left alone. Discuss vacation ideas and how to make good use of the free time for both children and adults.

telescope for my young ones

Hi,
My kid is keen to purchase a telescope and start scanning the night sky for comets. I am not so certain. Can some kiasu parent guide me about when, if at all, and how to go about buying a telescope? The only object I can identify in the night sky is the moon. How to guide my overenthusiastic kid?
Thanks, Karen

Suggest you bring him to participate in Science Center's Star Grazing activities, which is held every Friday night.

There is also a shop there that sell many different type of star grazing telescope.
