cheap place for holiday?

School terms keep kids in school and parents sane. Holidays can be boring to kids if they are left alone. Discuss vacation ideas and how to make good use of the free time for both children and adults.

cheap place for holiday?

Postby ROBO » Mon Dec 30, 2013 7:49 am

Hi

My kids has not yet went for holiday before because of my financial. To reward my elder DD for her good result in PSLE, planning to bring them for holiday in March. Anyone can help to recommend some places nearby(ie: msia) and not too expensive.
Thanks !

u can consider Malacca, Cameron highland and Genting. Nearer one are Desaru and legoland.

you can skip Genting for the moment as the outdoor theme park is closed for a couple of years as they are building the 20th century fox theme park. Malacca or cameron is a good choice as suggested by jjxy mum

Robo,
Would you consider a trip to our zoo or garden by the bay as holidays?

I have not been there, but my Malaysian colleagues say that Port Dickson not bad too. But I also recommend Malacca. They have very reasonably priced hotels and drive there is short.

My family enjoyed Penang, Malacca and Port Dickson

Apart from Malaysia, u might also want to consider Bintan.

Besides driving, any other way to go Port Dickson? What are the nice places there?
