School terms keep kids in school and parents sane. Holidays can be boring to kids if they are left alone. Discuss vacation ideas and how to make good use of the free time for both children and adults.

But if going during crowded time could be frustrating if you're planning to take photos without any other 'outsiders' in the photo…

The place is quite cramped (some parts) so if there are other visitors, it's impossible to chase them away or hope it'll be empty once they leave - cos others will come along.

It is better to go at 10am when it just open. Lesser people and you can finish it in an hour

Can go few rounds to make the money worth. So the constraint will be the camera battery and how strong is the bladder. Once you need to go out (for toilet :imconstipated: or whatever reason), you can't come back anymore. Got a rule on "No re-entry"

It's also one-way. By the time you reach the last place, if you want to start from beginning again, you can't go directly there and 're-start'. Can either walk backwards all the way to the start to restart, or take again from end-till-front. Not sure if can go out from the entrance though, likely not...

I've been to both Alive Muesum and Trick Eye in Singapore and agree that weekdays are better time to go, else you'll have to keep waiting and waiting for your turn to take photos. Worse if you get big groups in front of you who can't decide who to take, how to pose and can be really

But that said, I do think Alive Museum is not as crowded and is more interesting as there are more interactive pieces. When I went to Trick Eye, the wait can be 45 minutes to enter...

I spent 2 hours on a Friday evening at Alive Museum and it was very enjoyable for my family. If you're keen to see what's available, I blogged about my experience with more photos here: http://ajugglingmom.com/alive-museum-si ... ve-museum/
