Budget Flight with Kids

School terms keep kids in school and parents sane. Holidays can be boring to kids if they are left alone. Discuss vacation ideas and how to make good use of the free time for both children and adults.

Budget Flight with Kids

Hi,

I'm taking my 5yr old dd and 2yr old ds on Scoot to Perth this November. Looking for ideas to entertain them for the 5hrs flight.

I will bring along a tablet to entertain them but any recommendation on the apps to download and where can i download cartoons or movie for them? we rarely let them play on phone other than the camera function so i'm quite a mountain turtle on this.

other than tablet, any other suggestion for activities?

tia...

Books, colouring, puzzle books (for the older one), simple toys and games, some snacks. We travelled with our kids before electronic gadgets, and that's what we brought along.

Story books, colouring and puzzle books, small toys. The key is to introduce it one by one, after he is bored with the previous one.
