Preferably SG cos you pay SGD and don’t have to waste time searching.

I recommend getting the one from Klook. Cheaper per day than the one from Changi.

Do we need to get winter boots for children if we visit Australia during June holidays? Or track shoes sufficient?

Depends on where you are going. Anyway if you plan to play in the snow, you can always rent the boots together with the snow pants so you have less things to put in your luggage. You won't see snow in the cities so normal track shoes are good enough to walk around.

I used Telstra the other time, but for my upcoming trip I would just subscribe for data roaming package from Singtel, which will cost $12 for 1 GB of data for 30 days. That way I don't have to change my SIM card. I will use WhatsApp to communicate among ourselves anyway.
