I'm looking for 1-1 home tutors for my primary school daughter in Mandarin and Maths.

Thanks.

However, I prefer not to go through tuition agents (for various reasons). Is there a website that allows tutors to advertise their specialisation online and I could look through their profile and contact them directly? (like a jobsdb/jobstreet equivalent for tuition?)

Thanks.

i do have good recommendation. You can pm me.

For JC H2 Math may I promote myself. I conduct personal small group tuition using a proper rented classroom at Jurong West St 52 Blk 517 (near Lakeside MRT).

I am a former MOE JC Math teacher, currently adjunct lecturer at tertiary institution and part time tutor for A level.

JC 1 H2 math Wed 7 30-9 30pm (classes started - 2 students)
JC 2 H2 math Sun 7 30 - 9 30pm (new class pending for sign up)

$250 per 4 lessons, $100 discount if you refer a student to sign up.

P.S: Most important is that your child has the correct attitude towards studying, ability level does not matter.

Good tutors are hard to find especially around this period of time. Usually they should be fully packed alrdy.

Totally agree with you. Parents should have started their search earlier.

Ya. I always play safe lol, which i know I am kiasu also la. Thank god I found a good tutor for both my DS about 3-4 years ago and they have nv changed since then. I can see my friends changing tutors like changing clothes too, sometimes its juts about luck and getting the right tutor for the child. Good tutor are hard to come by too, if they are really good, must work out with them on how to help your child.

supposing parents have done their part but if tutors cannot deliver, then have to change.
