Try Tea Tree Oil, according to one review, tea tree oil is effective at fighting the specific strain of fungus that can cause both seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff..

We tried using a specialized treatment shampoo containing zinc pyrithione, and it really helps a lot. Maybe continuous usage may help remove the dandruff fully..

my dc used to have dandruff problems n oily scalp. ever since I bought Innisfree green tea mint shampoo for her to use, no more such problems. even though it did not stated it's for dandruff , but it works. in just 2-3 washes, the dandruff were gone! it's only $10 a bottle. it's cooling n refreshing as it contains mint. perfect for sg hot weather.

Try using sulphur soap for dandruff, itchy scalp or hair loss problems. Sulphur soap is also good for pimples & acne issues. It's worth a try - cheap & effective. Any brand will do. Can buy from Valu$ shops for only 50 cents per bar the one below. Google sulphur soap and its uses to read up more on it.

Tea tree oil is effective but you have to mix it with other solution so it won't damage your scalp.

I add a few drops of tea tree oil to my favorite shampoo as I wash normally. I think it helps lessen my dandruff.

People who shampoo less often (once or twice a week) are usually much more prone to dandruff. Simply increasing shampooing frequency often helps clear mild dandruff. Getting rid of dandruff permanently is not possible.
