RoseHip Oil

I saw this at Watsons and was wondering if any parents use this? Any good and if it's okay to use on children age 8?
If I am not wrong, rose hip oil is good for scar treatment/ prevention of scar.
I have not used it before, but a few people who sell essential oils told me this.
