Hi!!

Do you have preference which hospital to visit?

My past two pregnancy check-ups was with Ass Prof Mary Rauff at NUH.
I find her quite gentle and soft spoken. :D

I can provide more info if u are interested.

Like what kids_r_innocent said, do you have a preference for a hospital and where are you located?

I have a female gynae whom I have been seeing since 1991 and she's located at Ang Mo Kio and practises at Mt Alvernia (1st choice) and Mt E.

PM if you want her contacts.

Heard she is good. She was highly recommended by my GP given that I've a high risk pregnancy.

However, when I tried to make reservations, it appeared that her schedule is very packed and is only at NUH on certain days,etc... so I didn't go for her.

I went for Paul Tseng at TMC. Male gynae but he is good too.

Tell me about it. V difficult to obtain appt. She overloaded with patients, many who moved with her from Mt E when she was 'poached' (from what I heard) to NUH. I am not sure if she is taking any more new patients :?

Yup, Paul Tseng was also highly recommended to me. He is v v pro natural and home birth :D

Justlynn,

That said, I have to say that to each his own. I know of a friend who didn't 'click' with Dr Rauff. So really, I'd advise you to 'gynae shop'.

Just my 2 cents :D

mine was dr joycelyn wong from TMC. I loved having her as my gynae.
gentle and caring, does not rush through consultation, good stitching skills, very reassuring for first time mum.

however, down-side is the long wait each visit, which I hear has gotten worse cos she's even more popular these days.

my female obgyn is Dr Joan Thong Pao-Wen at Raffles Hospital.
appt hotline: 6311 1222
women's clinic: 6311 1230

she's a very gentle & friendly doctor has always attended to all my questions and worries... :D without making me feel 'silly'

Jocelyn Wong is a nice genteel lady. Mary Rauff has a really strong following but super-packed clinic.

My gynae (well, my wife's) was Yeo Swee Choo. A super smart lady, very very sound, but can be a little intimidating. At Mt E.

gynae prefer in the east or central
