Hypo Allg. Formula

Hi,

My son has had the same thing when we first moved to Singapore from Australia, he was three months old than. We have used successfully, NAN 1, 2 & 3 H.A. they retail for about 28.00++ @ NTUC and COLD storage.

Word of warning though, if you have had your baby on a non hypo allergenic formula before (they taste very sweet) it will be very hard to switch to hypo allergenic; they taste awful (trust me I tried them).

NAN H.A. comes in two different varieties, one made in Germany and one made in Switzerland. We had a great deal of success with the one from Switzerland and no success with the German one. Though Nestle will tell you there is no difference between the two formulas, we found that the one from Switzerland completely cleared up his skin allergies. Infact we still give him NAN but we successfully switch to NAN Pro 3. from H.A. 2.

We have tried all the soy ones but to no avail, he still had massive rashes, this is the only one that worked for us so we stuck with it.
I hope it helps ... We used to end up at the KK on a weekly basis, so it was Dr Gene Ong who switched us, and found the right formula. HE is a fantastic PD, but currently in Canada to further his education. You might like to try the KK hospital for assistance...

Of course breast milk is always best..

Hi,

I have also let DS tried NAN HA (not sure the Swiss or German one) but it was really effective. However DS had a lot of gas after taking it. No big issue except that it stinks when he farts  Not sure if Okosbaba has this "problem" too.
