bCG is not a mandatory vaccine in sg right?

Today I sent my son to take his MMR vaccine but the doc recommended mmrv despite me declining and finally my husband told the doc to go ahead w mmrv. I got home and read the side effects on kkh online and felt devasted.

I need assurance from those who had their child taken mmrv. Was everything ok?
All my friends just took mmr which is lower risk of seizures.

Help me thank u

My boy also took mmrv. It's very common. Don't worry too much.

preschool kids fall sick easily.
especially the first few months, when they are just enrolled into the new school.

I think a lot of people discount the fact that immunization plays a crucial role in keeping your child healthy. Probably because they are wary of some 'untruths' about it, which are nonsense, bordering on crazy if you ask me. is there any vaccine which MOH doesn't prescribe but could actually be needed? Recently I'm hearing HPV and Shingles.
