Hello everyone

Need your advice here:

My DS (11 yr old) has oily hair even though he shampoo his hair everyday.

This started to happen only about 2 months back. His hair will turn oily on the next day and when he comes back from school, wow his hair will be very oily.

Any one can recommend any shampoo?

1. See if your DS can wash his hair in the morning instead of the night (if he does), so that his hair can remain clean for a longer time. As we sleep, our body system rejuvnates, so hair may become greasy.

2. Overwashing can also lead to the scalp oil. Maybe he can shampoo every other day, instead of the daily shampoo.

3. Avoid conditioner.

4. Try to use less styling products e.g. hair gel, hairspray etc.

5. Keep his hair in a shorter style? May not be agreeable with preteens.
