After watching the documentary "Food Inc" and Supersize Me...
And various documentaries on GMO Food on youtube... :!:

It has made me very conscious about GMO Foods... :scared:

Always thought Scientist is doing a great job on the Biotech and GMO stuff... :|

But if you were to analyze why there are people against GMO process...and the risk of these GMO Food being serve as our meal... :(

Example to get a cow to produce more milk they inject the cow with some hormones.... :rubhands:

And the milk produce by these injected cow will contain antibotics...and this will be consume by human...OMG!!!

To ensure that the crops like corn , soya bean can resist pesticide spray , they modified the genes of the crops....
The modified crops when consume by human will then ...modified our cells ...maybe into cancer cells if our immunity is low.... :(

OMG...I strongly believe that most of the world food is now GMO ... :faint:
Look at the Strawberries from USA ...so BIG...must be GMO Stuff...

Now when I buy food I read the labels properly and buy more Organic Stuff... :scratchhead:
I do not want to posion my family.... :grphug:

I think it is kind of pretty hard to say no to GMO foods..esp when our government don't make it a law that GMO foods must be labelled.

If these foods are labelled, I will sure to avoid GMO foods.

How could we know GMO food?

As with all things, some balance is required. GMO is a catch all term that spans the innocuous to the sinister. Should one say no to rice that had been altered to require less water to grow, hence conserving water and the environment? In the case of hormone or antibiotic use, that is not GMO at all.

For as long as humans have been dependent on farming and cultivation to sustain us, we have been modifying both plants/animals and the environment. We take plants from one geography and plant them in another, sometimes with good results, and sometimes with devastating consequences. Same for animals. Who thought is was a good idea to introduce rabbits into Australia? How about African Honey Bees into the Americas, how damaging is that to local flora and fauna?

So yes, some of the more egregious things humans do to amplify food supply can be pretty scary, but the large majority of GMO is not like that at all.

The way USA FDA approves GMO Food to be sold without labelling is very scary...

Look how Monsanto is controlling and patenting the seeds...
All their seeds are modified to resist pesticide.... :x

In one video it said "if one have control the food, one can control the people" :!:
So it seems that a "Third World War will be Controlled Food" :?:

Imagine if you are a billionaire ...lots of money...your food supply will be determined by big corporates that have patent and control of the seeding...

If GMO foods is so good ...WHY Don't LABEL IT!!!! :P
Why hide....
There are a lot of information that GMO Foods were never properly tested before launching to the market....

GMO Food is already about 10 years in the market....
But we also know that more and more people are diagnose with illness ... :faint:

Something is very wrong with our FOOD!!! :|

Sorry, but I beg to differ. How can our cells be modified just because we eat GM food? What does immunity have to do with cancer cells, anyway, do we get cancer because our immunity is low? It is not like the "cells" in GM food will penetrate our body's cells, is it?

According to the video I watch on youtube , it is legal to sell GMO products without labelling....

They do not want consumer to know what they are eating.... :nailbite:

So far information I gather is maize ,corn , soyabean , canola are the most modified seeds ...patented by Monsanto

Monsanto is buying up companies and trying to own all the seedings around the world... :rubhands:

There are information that Monsanto modified corn has already infected Mexico convention seedings... :(

You know GMO corn, maize are being fed to pigs, cows, chicken....
and this pork , beef, chicken containing GMO...will be serve to us.... :|

So for a start try not to buy stuff containing corn ,
It is hard to find an item in the grocery store that does not contain corn. By learning to recognize corn derivatives on labels, one can see its presence in thousands of items.
For example

Monosodium glutamate and xanthan gum additives are made with corn.
Instant and ready-to-eat foods use cornstarch to keep their textures during freezing, thawing and heating.
Cornstarch is a basic ingredient for instant pie and pudding fillings.
High fructose corn syrups add sweetness to non-diet soda pop.
Corn syrup also can depress freezing to prevent crystal formation in ice cream.
Corn syrup is found in salad dressing and condiments, in lunchmeat and in hot dogs.
Paper products use raw starch in manufacturing.
Dextrose, a corn sugar sweetener, improves the color and texture of breads.
Dextrose is also used in vinegar and peanut butter.
Maltodextrin made from corn syrup is sprayed on instant tea and coffee to keep the granules free flowing.
Maltodextrin is also used in instant oatmeal and soup mixes.
Cornstarch is used in dry cell batteries.
Dextrins, made from starch, are used in crayons as a binder, and on match heads.
Corn oil is used in potato chips.
Super-absorbent cornstarch is used in some disposable diapers.
Sorbitol, produced from the corn sugar dextrose, is used in toothpaste and shaving cream as a water-soluble bulking agent.
An oxidized cornstarch paste is spread in a thin layer over aspirin.

So you see why is it scary that Monsanto is trying to control all the seedings of the world...which now they are the major owners of corn seedings and all these corns seedings are MODIFIED!!! :x
