I am posting this because a mommy asked me, and I hope that other mommies can share their experiences.
My daughter had very serious reflux when she was a baby. She vomited large amounts of milk, every time after she was fed. We brought her to see many PDs, none of them can do anything. We were told to carry her at an angle of 45 degrees, for about 30 mins to an hour, after every feed. We had to do this even after night feedings, because if we put her flat in the cot, her milk could come up through her nose and caused her to choke.
She is fine only after 1 years old. I was very worried that she could not get enough nutrition, but she always have a healthy appetite, and she is always among the tallest and biggest kids in her class.
I always wonder whether there was anything that we could have done better. Any mommies who had babies with bad reflux, please share your experiences here.
