Hi, if I am not wrong, TB is air-borne right? My husband's grandpa passed away from TB. During his last days, I did went to visit him once (I was not married to my husband then), my in-laws and husband don't allow me to go near to him. Both my in-laws are also alright. I think it still depends on individual immune system.

Lung with fluid is not the same as TB.

I don't know how to quantify how easy it is, but I don't think it is as easy as a common flu. However, the problem with TB is:

- the standard treatment is a cocktail of 4 drugs, taken over ~6 months.
- because of non-compliance, there are certain form of TB that is drug-resistance
- the bacteria can stay dormant in the body for years (i.e. no symptoms) and only come out to attack the person when immunity is low

If you are concerned about being infected, there are blood tests for it. Your GP will be able to give you more info.
