Anyway most parent are or do not have the info regading this new program Swim Safer rolled out by the SSC.

There are 6 stages , bronze is under stage 4....
so your kids are starting under stage1 where they will be able to take the test recomended 3 mths from their start dates. This will varies bet kids depennding on their learning ablities.

SSOG bro, nice to see you are sharing your experiences here. Good advises!

My older son completed Gold Star last year, and also all the life saving stages. He was 11 then and now growing fatter... :lol:

The younger one is just starting to learn to swim in his pyjamas... :D He is 6.

Are you going for the Ultra in June?

guess u r from SSOG & still is :)
Good that your start them young & hope they will continue from there.
Mine time I learn in the dangerous sea.,no money to go to the pool..lol
No I wont be joining any competition but I still run to keep fit due to injuries..back also giving pain now due to hard core training..lol

Get them a thermal swimsuit or swimming vest to keep them warm.
