Falling sick all the time Help!

Postby Laurenwkids » Mon Jul 11, 2011 2:29 pm

Hi,

I have been falling sick, getting sorethroat and fever. Almost as often as once a month since I started work in a new company. Anyone knows of good vitamin supplements that can really help? or any other suggestion?

How about eating more fruit, exercising and staying away from fried stuff etc ?

Hi, I used to have sore-throat every mth too, usually just before or during my period. I had to be on 2 courses of amoxycilin to be cured! Dr told me since I knew my pattern, then start boosting my immune system and stop heating fried food just before tt period. I started on bioflavonoid VC every day and take organic Manuka honey whenever I feel my throat getting scratchy. I haven't taken antibiotics for sore-throat for a few yrs now :)

Another supplement I used to take is OLA olive leaf extract from Australia - 1 tablespoonful a day. It is anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal and also seem to give you more energy. I took tt when expecting no. 3 and did not fall sick thru out the pregnancy. I've stopped taking as there are just too many supplements to take. Only my mil takes it nowadays :)

I ordered on the phone thru this pharmacy called Favor Care 62358767, Kenny. He recommended me the OLA olive leave extract (quite nice tasting - like pi pa gao) during the SARS period. I think if you order more than $50, delivery is free. Join as member and he'll send you special discount for various mths, esp your birthday mth (up to 40% discount but must check expiry date before ordering) I also got my Vit C and Calcium supplement from him. Used to take Barley green powder too. I'll leave it to you to contact him.

I've been having flu for 1 month now. Did 2 course of antibiotics but was having mild sorethroat. But early this week, suddenly the mild sorethroat became bad sore throat that I've to call off meetings as I just wasn't able to speak. Softly but then again, my throat hurts badly.

It's like 3rd round of flu within the month. Doc said the common flu nowadays are the "updated" pardon my layman version of H1N1. The body takes a while to fight it. But the issue is that with so many people around us falling sick on and off and 1 day MC is probably insufficient to fight off the virus, many a times, we end up catching the virus again but unfortunately a stronger form....
