Any good recommendations of dentists for teenagers?
Cheapest would be to go to the school dental clinic.

Otherwise, just go to your regular dentist. No difference between teens and adults, surely?

Out of curiosity, what are the fees like for polyclinic dental treatment? Eg. for scaling etc?

During my appt last year, consultation, polishing and scaling total cost $75+.
My next appt will be mid Sep 2018.

My private dentist is cheaper! I've been seeing her for years, and scaling and polishing is now around $60-$70. Used to be around $40 when I first started seeing her. So it looks like there is no benefit to going to polyclinic for the regular checkups, and the waiting time is so long! I can usually book an appointment in 1-2 weeks.

i am afraid of pain. my dentist is at Camden...my mum, aunts and cousins also go to him for scaling. he knows my pain threshold is low. he gave me a few jabs on the area itself so that the upper jaw won't be numb completely.
my recent visit was 2 weeks ago. the gums on the infected tooth has healed. it is the most painful treatment after the LA effect wore off.

I've got 3 dentists! A normal one, and specialists in root canals and implants. Specialists recommended by normal dentist. Not very good hor.

my dentist is a specialist in root canal and implants. very pro removing my wisdom tooth compared to the one at jurong medical.
he is aware of my low pain threshold...only numbed the areas when I had root canal cleaning and not the entire jaw.
