Hiya insider

Thank you for sharing this wonderful post. I hv always believe in food as a cure for most bodily ailments. Got a question about chrysanthemum, do you boil it or just steep it and how to choose (meaning paler ones or more yellowish ones are better)?

Many thanks.

Hiya insider

Thank you for the great tips. Normally I would just pour hot boiling water to rinse it before steeping it in my thermos. I normally add a little honey rock sugar.

I will try to get double deer brand. Will make some for colleague in the office too. All hving sore/scratchy throats.

:celebrate:

BUT my mum’s old fashioned recipes seems good as my 2 sisters and I all have problem free pregnancies /deliveries

wow, I'm going to wait for you to post on this. Had really bad nausea throughout both my pregnancies, practically in bed half the time. If there are some magic recipes to prevent this, I won't mind planning for my third child.

Hi Insider,

Need to tap on your expertise. What's your views on cordyceps for young kids? I have heard two different thoughts on this. Some highly advocates young children to take cordyceps. However, my friend has advised me against it, citing it is as detrimental for the health of young kids. I am really confused over this.

Hi Insider,

:thankyou: To think I was told by some TCM halls (including Yu Ren Sheng) that it's good for kids. Fortunately, the stingy me refuses to pay for the ridiculously rocket high prices for cordyceps.

I took cordyceps for many years since I was very young. I think my mom was trying to improve my immune system because I was very weak and sickly and would visit the doctor at least once a week. I am asthmatic and my mom would have to carry me to the doctor's everytime.

I never knew young children were not supposed to take cordyceps. Anyway, I don't give any to my DD cos I don't think she needs it. And yes, it is not cheap.

Lood at the great love of your mum for you!!! (but that time not so ridiculously expensive).

I think buying cordyceps is cheaper than paying the doctor once a week, from my mom's point of view.

I did get my menses early but I just thought I reached physical maturity faster, like my mom. I think my DD looks like an early bloomer too though she has never taken cordyceps.

Hi, Insider.

Thanks for the post on green bean. I did not know using a metal pot will cause oxidation. I specially bou a small thermos pot to cook green bean soup, now gotta buy a small clay pot.
