You can ask the pharmacist. There is a cream called Hiruscar (by the Hirudoid pple) that is not cheap. Alternatively, you can visit a cosmetic surgeon if it really bothers you.

As for pimple scarring, it depends on how bad it is. If it's like Mark Lee's, then you better visit a skin specialist or skin centres like New York Skin Solutions (dunno how effective though).

If you are talking about keloids (thick flesh like scar), then forget it. They will never go off even with cosmetic surgery.

Just to share my experience with keloids, it is possible to get them reduced in size and redness, but it's a rather painful and expensive process. You'll need to go see a proper dermatologist who can administer the correct dosage of injections and the process can be anything from 6mths to a year before the keloid flattens. I was recommended a cream by my dermatologist but I understand that the cream will be most effective with keloids that are already under control. i.e. the cream is to help keep the keloid under control, reduce the redness etc. This is the name of the cream http://www.kelocote.com/

Hope it helps!

Personally, find bio-oil not that effective. If u have more persistent scars/darker ones, do try merderma or hiruscar as recommended above. Available at watsons/guardian
