Went past a roadshow and they are promoting organic chiaseeds. Seems like very powerful seeds that can help in weight loss and lower blood pressure..

Anyone taking this regularly?

I read that this is a superfood and seems to be very beneficial to anyone incorporating into their daily diet.

How much do one have to take for it to be effective?

How is it taken, like added to other foodstuff?

Can be added to yogurt, smoothies, or just sprinkle onto your salad, rice.

I read that it should be taken about 2 tablespoons daily.

It contains more calcium then milk, more iron then spinach, antioxidants, Omega-3, high fibre, high in protein and a lot of other minerals.

If a child wish to turn vegetarian, this chia seed would be a good replacement for meat?

Not sure if can completely replace, should not be a problem if the child eats a wide variety of vegans food to get nutrients. Chia seeds protein are complete which is a good alternative, can also try Quinoa as they have complete protein and quite nutrients packed too.

dd1 never like meat and it's getting worse. Trying to find a range of food alternatives for her.
