Hi, anyone kids with transitions lens? Think of getting for my P6 DD. But her degree is about 600 degree each+ 300 astigmatism. Had ask 1 shop, price about $400 to $500 plus.
Anyone know where to get any cheaper ones ? Try to search spex.sg but online site under construction .

if you are near Holland Ave / Buona Vista, the optician shop is called Plus & Minus.....got it for $200 plus but the power of the lens is lower

Yes, below 300...and no astigmatism...
Try to ask for Student price....

I think Student Glasses should be less than SGD300...
Go to a shopping Mall , where there are a several Optical Shops....so easier to get good price...

Good Luck in your Bargain....

Your case is similar to my daughter. +350 astigmatism and 600 plus degree each. With high astig, everything is higher price.

we went to make that transition lens as per recommended by an eye specialist. We spent that similar amount as you had inquired

Personally, transition lens does not look pretty on my daughter's face when the lens turns dark. Furthermore, the 'dark' shade is not similar to the darkness as in sunglasses. The 'dark' shade is a bit 'greyish'? Nah, not so nice even to her classmates as well.
What a waste of money, when she fell down and broke the whole specs after 6 mths.

To be prudent and based on experience, don't spend too much on spectacle when the child is prone to 'accidents'.

+350 astigmatism also cannot get the myophia lens. They said they cannot do with such high astig.

Yes,friendship. Thanks for your advice. Actually I had been thinking about 1,2 years already .Luckily, she had not increased her degree for about 1 year+ and next year she going sec 1. So planning to buy for her this year.
