Hi there.

My mum as been discharged frm hospital and she needs to go for dialysis 3 times a week. The problem is most of us r working and is unable to take her to NUH for dialysis. Going to the hospital is only temporary till we get a slot in NKF.
The problem is my mum is unable to standup and walk. Though we do have a helper, it's difficult to handle her alone.
Could anyone knows of a transport company who could fetch her to/fro frm hospital.
It could be a great help if anyone have any contacts.
:thankyou:

sorry to learn about your mom's condition

you can try any of those non-emergency ambulance service. most if not all, provide transportation service to & fro dialysis centers

for example http://abellaagency.com.sg/index.php/road-ambulance

You can ask the dialysis centre. They should be able to share some contacts with you, whether it is non-emergency ambulance, social service, etc. Dialysis is not 'easy'... whenever possible, do try to either take her there, or drop by to see her at the centre, or later at home. Sometimes, it can be quite scary and lonely for the patient. All the best!

Thk you for all the suggestion. We manage to get a non emergency ambulance to take her to and fro frm NUH three times a week.

We do send her to hospital for all the regular check ups by ourselves.

We will be meeting up with NKF this week, hopefully they cud assign a dialysis centre near us, so we can cut down on our cost.

It's very expensive without the help of NKF.

:thankyou:
