Lately, my teenage dd's period did not stop completely (ie followed by spotting for a few days) and the next cycle started again. Is this normal?

This is going on for 1 mth already. Booked to see a gynae and said need to do a scan. Is it necessary?

having irregular should be common, but gynae suggest scan is to confirm no big problem with ur dd...

i suppose got to do with puberty...
