Hi,
My 6yo son seems to be always hungry.... He always had a good appetite and eats an adult's portion of food at mealtimes... besides that, we don't really give snacks. However, these 2 weeks, he seems to always complain of hunger about 2-3 hours after a very full meal....

Are any of your kids like that?

Thanks in advance

If he isn't overweight or filling up on junk food, then he's probably undergoing a growth spurt. These phases come and go.

Lol. I hope my daughter is like your kid. Mine is the exact opposite. She doesn't like eating at all. A spoonful of anything and she says she's full. :(

Agree.
If it's not meal time yet, u can give the child some healthy snacks like fruits, cheese sticks or yogurt. My dd went thru such phases, too.

Kids that age are very alert and very playful. So even if they had eaten so much during lunch time, after a few hours of playing, and they will start feeling hungry again. Dont you worry about its all normal.

My kids are always hungry too, so after eating lunch, i will start preparing snack for them. I usually prepare sandwhiches, spaghetti and sometimes pizza breads.

Kids go through growth spurts. Try giving smaller portions, and eat 5 meals instead of 3.
