Any ideas- what's this? - vision related issue

I want to share the problem of my niece with all of you. Please advice something. She is 7 years old and says that sometimes she finds everything very small in size. It lasts only for a few seconds. At this time time she writes very large alphabets in her notebook and finds a soccer ball to be of the size of a marble. What is thisproblem, has anyone else experienced this. Please reply.
