Gout is caused by too much uric acid in the blood. Most of the time, having too much uric acid is not harmful. Many people with high levels in their blood never get gout. But when uric acid levels in the blood are too high, the uric acid may form hard crystals in your joints.

Your chances of getting gout are higher if you are overweight, drink too much alcohol, or eat too much meat and fish that are high in chemicals called purines. Some medicines, such as water pills (diuretics), can also bring on gout. An abnormality in handling uric acid and crystallization of these compounds in joints can cause attacks of painful arthritis, kidney stones, and blockage of the kidney filtering tubules with uric acid crystals, leading to kidney failure. Gout has the unique distinction of being one of the most frequently recorded medical illnesses throughout history.

What are the symptoms?
The most common sign of gout is a nighttime attack of swelling, tenderness, redness, and sharp pain in your big toe . You can also get gout attacks in your foot, ankle, or knees. The attacks can last a few days or many weeks before the pain goes away. Another attack may not happen for months or years. The buildup of uric acid that led to your gout attack can still harm your joints.

Do you prefer to depend on medication or consume a natural alternative?

I prefer medication because there are scientific research done about it. My mom's friend took natural remedies for diabetes and her condition deteriorated fast and passed away

Nobody wishes to have gout.

My hubby last year started to have gout attack n once every 3 months, he need to suffer.

No choice, he needs to see doctor to go for injection n medication. Once recovered, ok for 2-3 months, then gout comes back again. So doctor advises to control diet. Many food cannot eat.

Even though he controls diet, still no use.

The medication that doctor prescribed cannot be eaten every day to prevent it n also it cannot be purchased fm outside unless hv doctor's letter. It is a control medicine with some side effect. So he always endure the pain but it will takes 3 weeks to a month to recover.

No choice, I look ard for other solution so I chanced upon this product with some good testimonial so let him try.

He has been taking for half a year, 'touchwood' gout never come back.

It's more about being careful with your diet and lifestyle. Finding out what triggers your attacks can help a lot.

Here's a quick read on gout: https://www.leongkenghong.com/patient-i ... /gout.html

Short article but very informative. Per Dr LKH, best way to treat gout is via NSAIDs or corticosteroid but for me it's just better to change lifestyles and diet to prevent gout.
