I echo everyword that ngl mentioned
I was given one option by my OBGYN.
Remove the uterus..
It was here I came to know of UFE by Dr Toh..and after speaking with Dr Toh I decided to give it a go..Thanks again ngl
All I would say know your options and make an informed decision..
UFE may not be suitable for everyone..

Hi to all :salute:

May I know if any member has information on TCM treatment for fibroid?

UFE or Hysterectomy is usually recommended and performed. Hoping to find another option.
Thank you :salute: :salute:

P/S. My Gynae is Dr Anthony Siow... Very patient n take time to explain clearly. He doesn't pressurise me to go for surgery at all. If I'm not wrong, he is one of the pioneers in key hole surgery in Singapore. Good luck.
I happen to read your listing under heading of 'Gynae'. May l know if you have any info on TCM physician that could treat fibroid. Hope that my wife can have another alternative in treatment.
Thank you very much

A hysterectomy seems to be the standard recommendation for uterine bleeding and more severe cases of fibroids? My mom had her executive checkup a few months ago (including a colonoscopy and gyne checks). She was found to have small fibroids. Her gyne Dr Ben Choey first asked her to watch and wait, and initially recommended just removing the fibroids. My mom's almost 60, btw, and she still hasn't had any menopause symptoms and even had her periods just last month. So Dr Ben recommended a hysterectomy both for the fibroids and to stop menstruation.
